Basically Leisure Holidays Special Tour is combination of tour and short trek which start from Kathmandu valley sightseeing including many UNISCO world heritage sites. You will visit all the heritage sites of Kathmandu valley including old royal palaces in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. You will also visit Hindu’s greatest temple Pashupatinath temple, Buddhanath stupa and swyambhunath stupas ( Monkey temple).

You will drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu (200 km), which will take 6-7 hour. Pokhara is famous city with its natural beauty, where you will have boating on Phewa lake, some ancient temples, Caves and natural water fountains.

The other part of this tour is to explore the cultural diversity and living style of the people from the mountain area by doing adventure trek for four days. This tour passes through beautiful forest and traditional village, natural resources, stunning snowcapped Himalayas, historical places and unique lifestyle of Nepalese people who lives in this area.

The last part of this tour is familiar with wild animal in Chitwan. Chitwan is also one of the UNISCO world heritage sites where you can see wide variety of animals and birds. After 4-5 hour drive from Pokhara you will arrive to Chitwan. Chitwan two nights three days activities comes with full board basis where you will do elephant back riding, Jeep safari, canoe riding, bird watching, Jungle walking and visiting to elephant breeding centre.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu Airport – transfer to Hotel
We will be Airport to welcome you to Kathmandu Nepal, where your holiday starts from. We will transfer to your Hotel. After you became freshen up and ready we will take you to our office about the briefing of your program. We will arrange meeting with your tour/ trekking guide who can explain you about the things you needed during your tour.

Day 2: Full day Kathmandu sightseeing (B)
After the Breakfast, Your guided sightseeing Cultural Heritage Tour around the historical sites of Kathmandu (Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhu, Bouhanath)

Pashupatinath Temple

Pashupatinath Temple, with its astonishing architectural beauty, stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition. Regarded as the most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world . Pasupatinath temple also being the temple of Lord Shiva possessed its two-storied golden roof and silver doors and is famous for its superb architecture. The temple is situated 5 kilometer east of Kathmandu heart, on the banks of sacred Bagmati River. Only Hindu pilgrims can enter the premises of the temple. Non-Hindus can admire the beauty of the temple from the other side of the Bagmati River, on the banks of which Pashupatinath Temple stands.

Swyambhunath Stupa

It is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist Stupa, it is said to be 2000 years old. Visitors often call it "Monkey Temple", the main structure brick and clay which supports a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. There are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha on the four sides of spire. Being situated seventy meter above the level of valley, the hill of Swayambhunath is a mosaic of small stupa and pagoda temples. Being located in the top level of valley, this place is famous for visitors for sightseeing.

Bouddhanath Stupa

Bouddhanath Stupa is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism. The stupa is located in the town of Boudha, on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. After 1959, many Tibetans arrived and settled in Bouddhanath area. The stupa, a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site, is included in World Heritage Cultural site list by UNESCO.

Patan Durbar Square

Patan Durbar Square is Situated in the center of Patan city this historical site boasts the varied range of unique architecture. Also known as Lalitpur this durbar square consists of ancient palaces, temples and shrines with exquisite carving. The major attractions of this site are Krishna temple with 21 golden pinnacle, Tushaty royal bath, Vishwanath temple and temple of Bhimsen with a striking golden terrace overlooking the square.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (B)
After having breakfast in Hotel you will leave for pokhara via tourist bus which leaves at 7 am. You will drive along the Trishuli and Marsyangdi River. During your tour to Pokhara you can see beautiful scenario such as beautiful village on the hillock area, beautiful fields, on your right you can see beautiful Ganesh Himal and Manaslu peak. Pokhara is a gateway to the magnificient Annapurna range, which contains many famous mountains in the world. You will arrive to Pokhara by afternoon. After having your lunch you can go to Phewa Lake for boating.

Day 4: Pokhara full day sightseeing (B)
Pokhara is a tourist's paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, & temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with lovely mountains. After breakfast you can visit places like Fewa Lake, Devis fall, Gupteshwar cave, Int'l Mountain Museum, Bindhyabashani temple, White river (Seti Gorge), Regional Museum, per market and Lakeside stroll around the small city in bicycle.

Day 5: Pokhara- nayapul- Tikhedhunga (1525m) (B, L, D)
It takes one hour to drive from Pokhara to Nayapul where you start your trek to Tikhedhunga (1525m). After the 15 minute walk through the bank of Modi khola we will arrive to Birethati which is a popular village with many shops and tea houses. After crossing the village the trails reach to the village called Hille. After short climbs from there we will arrive to Tikhedhunga (1525m). This is your first day in trekking you will enjoy the nature and you will be used to for the rest of the trekking.

Day 6: Tikhedhunga- Ghorepani (2885m) (B, L, D)
Today’s trek is quite challenging because we walk strength up to the face the mountain for 2-3 hour. We will pass through Ulleri and Banthali village. Fish tail mountain (6997m), Annapurna south peak (7219m) and other famous mountains we can see on the way. Now you will pass through the forest where you can see some wild animals and birds before we arrive to Ghorepani.

Day 7: Ghorepani- Poonhill- Tadapani (2675m) (B, L, D)
Today is the main point to see sunrise of different Himalayas. We wake up early morning, about 5 am to reach the Poon hill mountain for that we need to hike steps trails about one hour twenty minute. Poon hill is the highest altitude (3210 m) for this trek from where we can see panoramic view of Annapurna range including fishtail mountain, Dhaulagiri mountain, Nilrigi.

After breakfast we will head to Tadapani (2650 m) through the deep forest of Nepal’s national flower Rhododendrons, oaks and bamboos. Tadapani is small village surrounding by forest , from where we can see the magnificent view of Annapurna south, Fishtail and other mountains.

Day 8: Tadapani to Ghandruk (B, L, D)
After the breakfast our journey start from Tadapani to Ghandruk, which approximately takes 4 hour walking down through forest. Ghandruk is a cultural village of Gurung community. We can visit the Gurung museum and monastery at the evening.

Day 9: Trek back to nayapul via Saulibazar than drive to pokhara (B, L)
Today is our last day of our trek. It is very easy downward to the saulibazar through rice field, river and local village. We will walk through this route until we arrive to Nayapol than drive to Pokhara which normally takes one and half hour.

Day 10: Drive to Chitwan (B,L,D)
Early morning drive from Pokhara to Chitwan will let you experience the landscape variations and you run across bustling business hubs. On arriving Chitwan, you will be briefed about the place and the next day’s plans about exploring the National Park. Evening you will see local Tharu community’s cultural dance before your dinner.

Day 11: Chitwan full day Jungle activities (B, L, D)
You will be spending the entire day in the vicinity of National Park where you will have a nature walk for bird watching, visit the elephant breeding centre, attend the presentation on flora and fauna, enjoy the elephant safari inside the community forest and many more. You can enjoy your evening on the banks of Rapti River.

Day 12: Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu (B)
Drive towards Kathmandu on a tourist coach that will take approximately 5-6 hours. Once you reach Kathmandu, explore the local places around Thamel and enjoy the live music sessionos that are offered by many restaurants.

Day 13: Final Depature (B)
As this is the last day of Leisure Holiday Special Tour, you will prepare for your departure on this day. Make sure you have got all your souvenirs in your luggage and have all the necessary documents to make it easy for the immigration officials at the International airport. You will be transferred to the airport by taxi/car. The tours around Kathmandu ends but the memories will be eternal.
